King’s Marine Services LLC warrants its labor on repairs to existing systems as well as complete system installations to be free of defects due to faulty workmanship for 30 days in some case 90 days from the date of completion of the repair or installation. Manufacturer's warranties apply to materials used in connection with the repair.
To process the labor warranty for Domestic Units we need to fill out the follow information:
· Owner's name and address
· Boat name and builder
· Hull number of vessel or registration number
· Manufacturer, model, and serial number of defective equipment
· Date of purchase of the vessel or equipment
With this information, King’s Marine Services LLC, can approach the equipment maker and shall be a case or Claim to obtaining funding for the repair.
A typical repair would progress as follows:
The customer contacts King’s Marine Services LLC describes the problem and supplies the necessary information. King’s Marine Services LLC, schedules the best time for the customer and take a look into the vessel to diagnose the problem in order to determine whether the problem is a manufacturing defect, a maintenance issue or an installation problem. If the problem is a defect in manufacturing and the required information has been supplied, King’s Marine Services LLC, will repair the problem per manufacturer guidelines. A warranty claim will then be filed. If the claim is accepted, the manufacturer will pay King’s Marine Services LLC,their usual and Claim Warranty.
If the problem be a result of a maintenance issue or an installation problem attributable to someone other than King’s Marine Services LLC, the customer will be notified and the owner will have the option of paying King’s Marine Services LLC, to make the repair. It would be the customer's responsibility to approach the responsible party for reimbursement. If the repair requires more work than is covered by the manufacturer's schedule of allowances, King’s Marine Services LLC will approach the manufacturer for a "nonstandard", or special warranty allowance.
