Dometic Warranty Terms and Conditions from King's Marine Services (KMS)
Items may be returned by requesting a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) within 2 weeks after they have been delivered to you. (See conditions below).
RGA will expire after 30 days, and the returns will not be accepted after RGA expiration date.
Prices might change without notice.
Returns Policy
Return freight costs must be paid by the customer.
Products must be carefully packaged.
Products and packaging must be in their original condition, never installed, without signs of wear, parts missing, damage, dirt, bent, scratches or marks on products, etc.
The returned items will be carefully inspected.
Refunds will be based on the condition of the items.
A 30% restocking fee applies to all accepted returns.
If for any reason, the refund is not accepted, the customer has the option to receive the items back, paying the shipping charge.
Customer may not return or exchange any electrical components or special orders once ordered or installed by (KMS). With respect to nonelectrical components and non-special orders, Customer will be charged a 30% restocking fee with respect to any return or exchange.
Work Schedule
The work will be finished within a reasonable timeframe. The execution of this agreement may be influenced by factors such as labor strikes, fires, acts of war or terrorism, natural disasters, unexpected adverse weather conditions, unusual transportation delays, the seller's ability to acquire necessary materials, and any other circumstances beyond the seller's control.
Limited Warranty
(KMS) will offer Customer a limited warranty for service and labor lasting seven days from the service completion date. However, (KMS) shall not assume liability within or after this warranty period for any of the following:
(a) Damage attributed to regular wear and tear or abusive use.
(b) Damage resulting from equipment use beyond its design specifications.
(c) Defects arising from characteristics inherent to the materials used.
(d) Loss, injury, or damages caused in any manner by adverse weather conditions.
(e) Conditions arising for condensation, expansion, or contraction of any materials.
Personal Property
(KMS) is not responsible for damage to Customer’s personal property left in or near the project area.
Insurance and Waiver of Subrragation
The customer must have property insurance covering the entire structure, including all work specified in this agreement, for its full insurable value. This insurance should protect against risks like fire, theft, extended coverage, vandalism, and malicious acts. Both the customer and (King's Marine Services) give up any claims against each other for damages caused by these insured risks, regardless of whether such damage results from the fault or negligence of any party involved in this agreement.
Service Agreement
The customer will be charged $150.00 to $200.00 per hour, depending on the job's accessibility, as this is our technicians' labor rate. Shipping costs will be charged at our incurred rate. All parts must be paid for in full upon order. Please ensure an authorized person is on board to sign our job card.
Terms of Service and Warranty Policies
King’s Marine Services , is an authorized repair installation, sales and services Warranty for Dometic Marine Systems include Air Conditioning and Chiller Water Systems, as well Ice Makers, Water Machines and other manufacturers.
King’s Marine Services, is your advocate in the warranty process. We are an independent contractor who has established A/C, Refrigeration, and Water Maker, Circulation Sea Water Pumps Business for Yachts close working relationships with yacht equipment manufacturers in different Countries. You can feel free to ask Dometic Warranty Department for references and other customers whom are include in the Testimonials Section of our Website.
King’s Marine Services warrants its labor on repairs to existing systems as well as complete system installations to be free of defects due to faulty workmanship for 30 days in some case 90 days from the date of completion of the repair or installation. Manufacturer's warranties apply to materials used in connection with the repair.
To process the labor warranty for Domestic Units we need to fill out the follow information:
· Owner's name and address
· Boat name and builder
· Hull number of vessel or registration number
· Manufacturer, model, and serial number of defective equipment
· Date of purchase of the vessel or equipment
With this information, King’s Marine Services, can approach the equipment maker and shall be a case or Claim to obtaining funding for the repair.
